A GOOD AS NEW SHOP
starts on Monday 31st October for five weeks.
The last day will be Saturday 3rd December.
The Good as new Shop will be held in the old Smith & Horner Shop
on the Hilltown at the corner of Constitution Street.
If you can spare ½ day, one day or any time at all then please give your name to Iris Peter or Madge Phillips.
If you have goods to give for the Shop and you want them to be picked up then phone Bob Bremner 813967. We sell Books, Records, CDs, Bric-a-brac, Clothes, Furniture, you name it and we sell it.
A joint Enrolment Service will be held on Sunday 27th November at 6.30pm when the Boys’ Brigade will be joined with the Girls’ Brigade Please come along and support the youth of our church.
Tea, Coffee, juice and eats will be served in the hall afterwards.
The Boys’ Brigade new session starts on Thursday 1st September meeting in Glebelands Primary School, Baffin Street. ANCHOR BOYS from Primary’s 2 and 3 meeting from 6pm- 7pm. JUNIOR SECTION: Primary 4, 5 and 6 meeting from 7.15 – 9pm. COMPANY SECTION: Primary 7 to 19 years of age meet every Friday nightstarting on 2nd September 7.30-9.30pm.
The weekly collection is 75p.

WHEN CAN I JOIN ??
Come along on any night for the section you wish to join.
ANCHOR BOYS
Primary 2 and 3 or 6 years of age. There are stories, outing, arts and crafts with lots
of fun and games.
JUNIOR SECTION
Primary 4 to 6. We meet every Thursday evening from 7.15 p.m. to
9 p.m. in Glebelands Primary School Games Hall . There is a very
varied programme which consists of Marching, O'Grady, Team Games,
Singing, Arts and Crafts, Mime and Drama, Hockey, Football plus
many more interesting games. There is an outdoor Footgall Team and
enter a variety of conpetitions throughout the year. We also visit
a number of local places of interest.
WITH HOURS OF INTEREST, FUN AND EXCITEMENT WHY NOT COME ALONG
TO THE NEXT MEETING AND FIND OUT MORE ABOUT IT.
COMPANY SECTION / SENIOR
SECTION
Primary 7 to 18 years of age, meet every Friday evening from 7:30
p.m. to 9:30 p.m. This group of older boys also meet in Glebelands
Primary School Games Hall.
The Company Section of our Brigade offers a wide variety of activities
to cover the many interests of boys in this age group.
As well as Badge Work and Competitions, this is the age group who
go to camps each year.. During July we go to Inverbervie and at
the beginning of October we visit a Brigade Group in Fort William.
The Fort William boys join us in Inverbervie for the summer camp.
We also go hill-walking, orienteering, and outdoor sports. We also
go ten pin bowling, swimming, play volleyball, cricket, rugby with
box-work and mat-work and pyramids indoors.
We now have a pipe band so come along and learn to play the pipes
or drums.
